WUHAN — Government departments and export enterprises have jointly held a Q&A seminar on import and export trade and customs affairs to address difficulties in foreign trade exports.
At the seminar, the general manager of Hubei Runli's Wuhan International Foreign Trade Department, consulted Wuhan Customs officials on export approval procedures and customs clearance matters for special-purpose vehicles and new energy vehicles (NEVs). Officials from relevant customs divisions answered each question in detail.
Regarding NEV exports, Customs clarified that complete vehicles do not require a dangerous goods packaging certificate; exporters only need to commission a qualified institution to issue a transport condition appraisal certificate.
Customs also reminded enterprises to carefully verify declaration information, including declared value and destination country, to avoid repeated procedures caused by information errors and ensure clearance efficiency.
